Collage Workshop

Step into the vibrant world of collage art in this 2.5-hour workshop designed for all levels of experience. No prior knowledge is needed—just bring your enthusiasm to create! We'll journey through the fascinating history of collage, uncovering diverse techniques and styles along the way. From traditional to contemporary approaches, we'll experiment and unleash creativity. Each participant will craft one or more collages, exploring limitless themes. At the workshop's conclusion, not only will you take home your unique creations but also have the chance to digitally preserve your favorite piece with a digital scan that will be emailed to you at the conclusion of the session.
About the instructor:
Originating from Santiago, Chile, Martina studied Arts and Graphic Design at university. During her university days she participated in different art and design markets, working collaboratively with other artists and creatives. Martina has worked in various 2d mediums including, acrylic painting, screen printing and collage. She is particularly passionate about collage, using her extensive collection of magazines and papers to create vibrant multi layered pieces. During COVID Martina focused on online art classes with children and adults living with disabilities. Martina believes in the power of creating and teaching art to express our unique perspectives. She prioritizes and encourages building creative confidence and creative freedom in her teaching.
