Welcome to our weekly Character Drawing Class, tailor-made for young artists aged 8 - 12 who are passionate about bringing their imaginative characters to life. In this class, we'll explore various techniques that will help you refine your drawing skills and discover your unique style, all while having fun.

 Led by experienced artists, this class offers an opportunity to delve into the fascinating world of character creation.

Key Learning Areas:

  • Figure Drawing: Learn the basics of drawing the human form and infuse your characters with natural poses and proportions.

  • Character Design: Dive into the process of crafting characters from scratch. Develop their personalities and backstories to make them truly stand out.

  • Anime and Comic Illustration: Get a glimpse into the world of anime and comics, and learn how to depict emotions, action, and stories through your art.

  • Trying Different Mediums: Experiment with markers, watercolors, ink, and even sculpture. Discover which mediums resonate with you and your creative process.

  • Cultivating Personal Style: Embrace the freedom to explore and develop your own artistic style that reflects your personality and vision.

Term 2 2024 / 10 week term / $370

Late enrolments

Enrolments welcome throughout term (subject to availability). Price will adjust automatically according to how many weeks remain of term.
